Hyderabad, Aug. 12 -- The Special Operations Team (SOT) of LB Nagar Zone, in coordination with Nagole Police, busted an inter-state ganja supply chain from Odisha to Hyderabad and arrested two alleged drug peddlers, besides seizing 23.02 kg of ganja worth around Rs 11.51 lakh, police said on Wednesday.
The arrested persons were identified as Trinath Nirike(40), and Sona Hunthal (28), both drivers and natives of Koraput district in Odisha, a police release said here.
Acting on credible information, police intercepted two vehicles near Bharath Petrol Pump at Nagole X Road on August 11.
During searches, four packets of ganja were recovered from the dicky of a Toyota Innova and two packets from a Mahindra XUV 300, police said.
