Bhubaneswar, June 20 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday said that despite various challenges, the state government has implemented several new schemes and programmes over the last two years for women, the poor, farmers, youth, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and backward communities, significantly accelerating Odisha's development journey.

Delivering his welcome address during the visit of President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Rairangpur to mark the completion of two years of the state government, Majhi said Odisha has witnessed substantial transformation across sectors including education, healthcare, women's empowerment, livelihoods and industrial growth.
