Bhubaneswar, May 15 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday announced a two percent percent increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees, offering financial relief to lakhs of government staff and pensioners across the state.
With the latest revision, the DA for state government employees has been raised from 58 percent to 60 percent. The enhanced rate will be implemented retrospectively from January 1, 2026.
According to official sources, employees will receive the revised DA in cash along with their salary for the month of May.
