Bhubaneswar, Sept. 9 -- Odisha Vigilance on Tuesday arrested a Junior Assistant for siphoning off Rs 1.15 crore in government funds by generating fake bills in the names of retired employees and diverting their dues into his own bank accounts.
The accused, Mir Imtiyaz Ali, was serving as Junior Assistant at Fasimal Community Health Centre (CHC) under Jamankira Block and was also holding additional charge at CHC Govindpur under Bamra Block in Sambalpur district.
