Bhubaneswar, Aug. 14 -- Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati on Friday called for a concerted effort to develop and promote Buddhist tourism in the state, saying Odisha's rich Buddhist heritage and diverse tourist attractions have the potential to draw visitors from across India and neighbouring countries.
Interacting with Tourism Development Officer Trainees of the Odisha Tourism Service (OTS) cadre at Abhishek Hall of Lok Bhavan, the Governor underscored the need to give greater visibility to Odisha's major Buddhist destinations, including Dhauli, Ratnagiri, Udayagiri, Lalitgiri and Jirang.
