Bhubaneswar, July 29 -- The Odisha government is fully prepared to tackle the flood situation triggered by incessant rainfall across the state, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari said after chairing a high-level review meeting on flood preparedness.

Appealing to people not to panic, Pujari urged the public to cooperate with the administration and make full use of the government services and assistance being provided. He directed all district administrations and line departments to work in close coordination to ensure the safety and well-being of residents in vulnerable areas.
