Bhubaneswar, Aug. 11 -- The Odisha Government is exploring the possibility of establishing a Space Research and Manufacturing Centre in the state under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode) as part of efforts to strengthen its space and scientific capabilities.

Odisha Science and Technology Minister Krushna Chandra Patra, who met union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, Atomic Energy and Space Dr Jitendra Singh in New Delhi on Tuesday, discussed a range of proposals aimed at expanding Odisha's science and technology ecosystem, including the proposed Space Applications Centre.
