Bhubaneswar, June 10 -- : Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Yogesh Bahadur Khurania on Wednesday reviewed security arrangements for President Droupadi Murmu's proposed two-day visit to Mayurbhanj district on June 19 and 20 and directed officials to ensure foolproof security during the VVIP programme.

Chairing a high-level preparatory meeting, the DGP instructed senior police officers to accord top priority to all security-related measures and maintain close coordination among the police, district administration, and other concerned departments.

Khurania stressed the need for continuous review and monitoring of security arrangements to eliminate any possibility of lapses and ensure the smooth conduct of the President's visit.
