Bhubaneswar, Aug. 7 -- The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) has demanded that Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announce a specific date for supplying error-free textbooks to students from Classes II to VIII, alleging that the delay was jeopardising the academic future of around 55 lakh students in the state.
OPCC senior spokesperson Rajani Kumar Mohanty said the state government must clarify when the errors in textbooks printed by the School and Mass Education Department would be rectified and when the corrected books would reach students.
