Bhubaneswar, March 16 -- The Odisha Congress has condemned the devastating fire incident at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack, which tragically claimed the lives of 11 patients, calling it a direct result of administrative negligence, operational lapses, and the state's overall apathy towards public health.
A high-level delegation from the Pradesh Congress Committee visited the hospital to express their condolences to the families of the victims.
The delegation, led by prominent party leaders, demanded immediate financial assistance of Rs. 1 crore for each of the affected families and employment for at least one member from each family.
