Bhubaneswar, June 1 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday urged union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy to expedite forest and environmental clearances for auctioned mining blocks in the state and sought greater cooperation from the Centre to accelerate Odisha's mining-led growth.
During a detailed meeting held at Lok Seva Bhavan, Majhi emphasized the need for timely allocation of the Sijimali Bauxite Block and the Thakurani Iron Ore Block to the Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC).
