Bhubaneswar, March 26 -- Asserting that essential commodities remain adequately available across Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday directed officials to stay vigilant against black marketing, particularly attempts to create artificial shortages of cooking gas.
Chairing a high-level review meeting, the Chief Minister emphasised strict monitoring of the supply chain in light of concerns arising from the ongoing tensions in West Asia.
He instructed authorities to conduct statewide raids and take firm action against unscrupulous traders involved in hoarding or manipulating supplies.
