Bhubaneswar, July 17 -- Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of two devotees who died while undergoing treatment in separate incidents during the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath in Puri.
In a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), Majhi conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.
According to the CMO, one elderly devotee died while undergoing treatment after suffering suffocation due to the heavy rush of pilgrims, while another devotee succumbed to a heart attack during treatment in a separate incident.
