Bhubaneswar, June 12 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday launched a sharp attack on the previous BJD government led by Naveen Patnaik, alleging that despite ruling the state for 24 years, it failed to ensure basic amenities such as quality electricity, drinking water and road connectivity across villages.
Addressing the media on the completion of two years of the BJP government in Odisha, Majhi questioned why several villages continued to remain deprived of essential infrastructure even after nearly eight decades of Independence.
