Bhubaneswar, June 27 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has dismissed newly appointed Odisha Taxation and Accounts Service (OT&AS) officer Bhimsen Tudu from government service following his arrest in connection with the alleged abetment of suicide of an MBBS student.
Sources in the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said on Saturday that Tudu would also not be eligible for any future government employment.
Tudu, who had recently joined the OT&AS cadre, remained absent from his induction training programme that commenced on June 4, 2026, and also failed to appear for his final examination at the Madhusudan Das Regional Academy of Financial Management (MDRAFM).
