Bhubaneswar, April 17 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday directed officials to take stringent action against black marketing and hoarding of fertilizers across the state, emphasizing strict enforcement ahead of the Kharif season.
Reviewing fertilizer availability and distribution at a high-level meeting, the Chief Minister instructed authorities to carry out regular inspections of wholesale and retail warehouses. He asked district collectors to conduct surprise checks and take firm action, including filing FIRs and cancelling licenses in cases of violations.
