Bhubaneswar, Aug. 3 -- Odisha government on Monday approved the Project Proposal Report (PPR) for the ambitious Rs 5,000 crore Bhubaneswar-Katak-Puri-Paradip City Economic Region (BKPPECR) project aimed at developing the region as an integrated economic growth hub.
The approval was granted at the State-Level Project Monitoring Committee (SLPMC) meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Anu Garg.
The BKPPECR has been selected as one of the four pilot economic regions under the Central Government's City Economic Region (CER) scheme in its first phase.
