Bhubaneswar, April 22 -- The Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, on Wednesday approved the Odisha State Data Policy 2.0, a major step towards strengthening data-driven governance and accelerating digital transformation in the state.
Briefing reporters after the Cabinet meeting, Chief Secretary Anu Garg said the policy seeks to institutionalise a comprehensive and robust data governance framework covering the entire data lifecycle. It will regulate the collection, storage, processing, and use of data generated by various state government departments and associated organisations.
