Bhubaneswar, Feb. 25 -- The Odisha Government has announced that paddy procurement for the Kharif Marketing Season (KMS) 2025-26 is progressing steadily across all 30 districts of the state.
So far, Odisha has achieved 80 percent of its overall procurement target, with more than 13 districts surpassing 90 percent of their assigned goals.
Among them, seven districts-Bargarh, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Koraput, Nuapada, Sambalpur, and Subarnapur-have demonstrated exceptional performance by crossing 95 percent of their targets.
Subarnapur has emerged as the top-performing district, achieving 98 percent of its procurement target with a total collection of 3,76,556 quintals of paddy.
