Kendrapada, Aug. 29 -- A 32-year-old youth was allegedly murdered and his body was found tied to a cement pole in front of his house at Haladia village under Beruhan Gram Panchayat in Marshaghai police limits of Odisha's Kendrapada district on Saturday morning.
The deceased was identified as Chandan Das alias Happy (32), son of Ashok Das.
According to Marshaghai IIC Tapan Kumar Nayak, Chandan's hands and legs were tied to a cement pole when his body was found in front of his house. Police recovered the body and sent it to the District Headquarters Hospital for post-mortem.
Family members said Chandan had gone out of the house on Friday evening but did not return. His body was spotted tied to the pole on Saturday morning.
