Bhubaneswar, June 9 -- The Odisha Water Resources Department on Tuesday suspended three engineers and initiated disciplinary proceedings against them over alleged gross misconduct and dereliction of duty in the execution of a key canal infrastructure project in Bargarh district.
The suspended officials are Madan Mohan Sethy, Superintending Engineer, Bargarh Irrigation Division; Raj Kumar Mishra, Assistant Executive Engineer, Bheden Irrigation Sub-Division; and Ranjan Patel, Assistant Engineer, Bargarh Canal Section.
