Bhubaneswar, Aug. 1 -- The Odisha Police today said that it had reunited 17,590 missing women and children with their families during the first six months of 2026 through sustained investigations, interstate coordination and its special Operation 'Anweshan' rescue drives.
The operation was carried out under the direct supervision of Director General of Police (DGP) Y.B. Khurania, with the Crime Against Women and Children Wing (CAW & CW) leading the efforts in coordination with district police units and counterparts in other states.
