Bhubaneswar, Aug. 25 -- The INDIA bloc has stepped up its campaign against the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Act, 2026 (MMDR Act-2026), with its constituent parties organising a torchlight procession in Bhubaneswar on Monday ahead of a statewide "Resistance Day" on August 25 to demand repeal of the legislation.
