Bhubaneswar, Sept. 7 -- Jagatsinghpur's centuries-old weaving traditions and sacred heritage came into focus as the 19th Jagatsinghpur Heritage Walks took enthusiasts across Odisha to Bayan Gram and the historic Sri Raghunathjew mutt at Manapur.
The walk on Sunday began at Bayan Gram, a weavers' village near Jaipur Bazaar, where around 150 families have preserved traditional handloom weaving practices for generations. Senior weaver Hemant Kumar Sahu briefed participants on the village's history and traditional weaving techniques.
