Bhubaneswar, June 14 -- East Coast Railway (ECoR) has scripted a major achievement by emerging as the only zonal railway in the country to secure awards in all four categories of the Railway Board's prestigious shields for the best-performing locomotive sheds during the 2025-26 financial year.
The awards, recognising excellence in locomotive maintenance, reliability and operational efficiency, will be presented at the 43rd Maintenance Study Group (MSG) meeting scheduled to be held at Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW), Chittaranjan, on June 19 and 20.
