Bhubaneswar, June 6 -- Eighty-five apprentice trainees who recently joined the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today visited the civic body's waste processing facilities at Palasuni in Bhubaneswar to gain practical exposure to scientific solid waste management and resource recovery systems.

The trainees toured the Micro Composting Centre (MCC) and the Mega Material Recovery Facility (MRF), where they were acquainted with the processes involved in collection, segregation, recycling and disposal of municipal solid waste.
