Thiruvananthapuram, June 8 -- Describing the ocean economy as a transformative opportunity capable of driving Kerala's next phase of development, Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan said the state's vast maritime resources, strategic coastline and port infrastructure can open "infinite possibilities" for a New-Age Kerala.

On the occasion of World Ocean Day, observed on June 8, the Chief Minister said the day often passes without receiving the attention it deserves.
