Kolkata, Aug. 13 -- A nurse was found dead inside a washroom at West Bengal's state-run Nil Ratan Sircar (NRS) Medical College and Hospital in Sealdah in the city last night. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.
The nurse, who was on duty at the High Dependency Unit (HDU) of the hospital's gynaecology department, was found unconscious inside the washroom after colleagues noticed that she had been missing from the nursing station for nearly an hour.
According to hospital sources, the nurse had reported for duty and later allegedly took three vials of fentanyl with her to the washroom.
