Ahmedabad, Sept. 5 -- India's Nurjahan Noorali Jamani won two medals at the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) World Para Future Lahti 2026 in Finland, taking silver in Class 7 singles and bronze in Class 7 standing doubles at the Pajulahti Olympic Training Center.

The performance lifted Nurjahan eight places to No. 19 in the world ranking, from No. 27, further strengthening her position as India's No. 1 player in her category.

Nurjahan began her singles campaign with a 0-3 loss to Germany's Birgit Baumgartner before responding with a 3-0 win over Iceland's Agnes Lovisa Johannsdottir. She then produced a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Macau's U Choi Hong, winning the final two games 13-11, 13-11.
