Ranchi, July 9 -- NTPC Mining Limited (NML) has strengthened its position as a leader in mine safety, with three of its coal mines receiving the prestigious 5-star rating in the Star Rating of Open Cast (OC) Coal Mines for the financial year 2024-25, conducted by the Office of the Coal Controller (CCO) under the Ministry of Coal.
NTPC sources said here today that the company''s Pakri-Barwadih, Dulanga, and Talaipalli coal mines were awarded the highest five-star rating for excellence in safety practices and operational standards.
