New Delhi, March 21 -- India's largest power utility, NTPC Limited, is looking to expand its global footprint as it held high-level discussions with Tajikistan to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, an official statement said on Saturday here.
The Chairman and Managing Director of NTPC met Juma Daler Shafoqir, Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan, along with Lukmon Bobokalonzoda, to explore opportunities for collaboration in power generation and infrastructure development.
The talks focused on identifying potential areas for joint development of energy projects in Tajikistan, particularly in coal, gas, and floating solar segments.
