Hyderabad, June 16 -- NSUI Telangana State President Yadavalli Venkat Swamy on Tuesday met Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar at the Secretariat and submitted a memorandum seeking free RTC bus travel for students appearing for the NEET UG re-examination scheduled on June 21.
Venkat Swamy alleged that nearly 22 lakh students across the country had been affected by the alleged NEET UG-2026 question paper leak and said the decision to conduct the examination again had caused considerable mental stress among aspirants.
He also pointed out that students, particularly those from rural areas, would have to incur additional travel expenses to reach their examination centres.
