Thiruvananthapuram, July 14 -- Nair Service Society (NSS) General Secretary G. Sukumaran Nair has categorically denied allegations that the organisation had prevented anyone from offering floral tributes at Mannam Samadhi, asserting that the controversy was never about denying entry but solely about adherence to security protocol and the proposed use of a dog squad for security checks.

Responding to remarks made by Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan and union Minister of State Suresh Gopi at an NSS function in New Delhi, Sukumaran Nair said there has never been any restriction on anyone paying homage at the memorial of Mannath Padmanabhan at Perunna in Changanaserry, Kerala.
