Srinagar, Aug. 17 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday said the weakening of states' powers in the education and health sectors was not solely the BJP's doing, asserting that previous governments including UPA at the Centre had also contributed to the gradual centralisation of authority.
Omar was responding to a question on ongoing student protests in Jharkhand and the government's decision to hold a second round of talks.
Omar said dialogue should continue if the students' demands were found to be genuine.
