Koderma, Feb. 24 -- Koderma BJP MLA Neera Yadav on Tuesday criticised the budget presented in the Jharkhand Assembly, terming it not an "Abua Dishom" (our land) budget but a backward budget that, she alleged, would push the state behind rather than drive development.
Reacting to the state budget presented today, Yadav said that during the budget speech, Parliamentary Affairs and Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore claimed that even after payments under the Maiya Samman Yojana, around Rs 78,000 crore remained in the state exchequer. At the same time, she alleged that the government also blamed the Centre for lack of financial support and insufficient share in central taxes.
