Kolkata, July 30 -- The West Bengal government held a high-level meeting with around 40 leading industrialists and business representatives from North Bengal at Nabanna to discuss ways to boost investment, improve industrial infrastructure and accelerate economic growth in the region.
The interactive session, organised by the North Bengal Chapter of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) on Thursday, was attended by West Bengal Tourism Minister Shankar Ghosh and state finance minister Swapan Dasgupta.
The meeting focused on promoting private investment, improving the ease of doing business and expanding opportunities in the tourism and MSME sectors across North Bengal.
