Siliguri, May 3 -- With the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections now over, attention has shifted to Monday's vote counting, which is expected to define the political balance in North Bengal-a crucial battleground between the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Under the supervision of the Election Commission of India, elaborate arrangements have been put in place at all counting centres, including a three-tier security system.
