Srinagar, July 31 -- In the second terrorist attack this month, a non-local labourer was killed and another injured after unidentified gunmen opened fire on the duo in the Kilam area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Friday evening, officials said. A massive hunt has been launched to trace the terrorists.
The incident comes nine days after a terrorist attack in south Kashmir in which a J&K policeman deployed on Amarnath Yatra duty was killed in Anantnag district. On July 22, the policeman was shot dead from close range by a terrorist.
The injured labourers were rushed to a hospital for treatment, officials said.
