Imphal, May 12 -- The Directorate of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of Manipur, has officially dismissed circulating reports of an LPG and petroleum shortage in the state as misinformation, urging the public to remain calm.
The State Level Coordinator of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Imphal, confirmed that supplies of LPG, petrol, and diesel remain adequate and are being distributed without disruption across Manipur.
Yumnam Nelson Director, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution cautioned residents against panic buying and unnecessary hoarding of fuel, warning that such behaviour poses serious safety and accident risks.
