Chennai, July 28 -- With no breakthrough in the assault case involving Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Maria Wilson, the Madras High Court Mediation Centre on Tuesday directed him, his brother and his wife to appear again on August 12.

Advocate Haja Mokaideen Kisti, speaking to reporters said that despite multiple rounds of mediation, both sides have not been able to arrive at a mutually acceptable solution"Today's mediation session lasted for over an hour, but no settlement could be reached. The matter has now been adjourned to August 12, and both parties have been directed to appear in person once again," he said.
