Kolhapur, May 23 -- Maharashtra NCP (SP) president Shashikant Shinde today declared that all discussions regarding merger of the rival NCP factions are now over.
Talking with reporters here this evening, he dismissed all speculations about the reunion of two NCP factions, stating that the merger chapter has ended now and emphasized that their party will fight upcoming poll battles solely under party chief Sharad Pawar's leadership.
He firmly maintained that their leadership path is with the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA).
