Agartala, April 12 -- A voter turnout of 22% was recorded during the first three hours of voting for Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) elections, held across all 28 constituencies in the state amid stringent security measures.

The State Election Commission (SEC) reported that polling began peacefully, barring a few isolated incidents where BJP polling agents were allegedly prevented from entering booths. However, no cases of voter intimidation or threats were documented.
