Trichy (Tamil Nadu), March 11 -- union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Wednesday ssaid there was not fuel shortage in the wake Gulf countries being affected by the US/Usrael-Iran conflict that had hit crude oil production leading to hike in prices of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders in India triggering fears of short supply.
He said India is not facing any shortage of petrol or other fuels, even as concerns rise over global energy disruptions caused by tensions in West Asia.
Speaking to reporters in Trichy ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's events, including a NDA rally in the evening, Mr Goyal said the Central government is closely monitoring the situation and taking steps to ensure uninterrupted fuel availab...
