Bengaluru, March 26 -- Agriculture Minister Chaluvarayaswamy has responded to concerns about a possible shortage of chemical fertilizers due to war-like situations.

Speaking at Vidhana Soudha, he referred to the Prime Minister's comments on West Asia crisis, the minister said that the state government has already taken necessary precautionary measures.

He assured that the government is fully prepared to provide all required facilities to farmers and has taken steps to ensure that there will be no shortage of chemical fertilizers.

At the same time, Chaluvarayaswamy advised farmers to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and emphasized that adopting organic farming practices is important for maintaining soil fertility and health.
