Hyderabad, May 26 -- Telangana Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha on Tuesday said no Ebola cases have been reported in the state so far and urged the public not to panic, assuring that the government is fully alert and prepared to handle any situation.

The Minister reviewed Ebola prevention measures and preparedness at a meeting held at the Aarogyasri Trust office in Hyderabad in view of the outbreak reported in some African countries.

Senior officials informed the Minister that no Ebola-positive cases or symptomatic individuals have been identified in Telangana till date. They said all precautionary measures are being implemented as per Central Government guidelines.
