Chennai/New Delhi, July 8 -- The public sector NLC India Limited (NLCIL) and National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), also a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise, signed a Joint Venture Agreement on Wednesday for the development of a 4 x 270 MW (1,080 MW) Coal-based Captive Thermal Power Plant at Angul, Odisha.
The JV pact was signed in the presence of union Minister for Coal and Mines G.Kishan Reddy, NLCIL said here this evening.
