Bhubaneswar, June 23 -- In a major push towards clean and sustainable energy, NLC India Renewables Limited (NIRL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NLC India Limited, and OREDA Limited (OREDA), on Tuesday signed a Joint Venture Agreement to develop large-scale renewable energy projects across Odisha.
The joint venture aims to develop 1,000 MW of green energy capacity in the state, reinforcing Odisha's commitment to expanding renewable energy infrastructure and meeting future clean energy demands.
As part of the initiative, the project portfolio will include 250 MW of wind power capacity and 225 MW of floating solar power projects, along with several other renewable energy initiatives.
