Sasaram, Oct. 9 -- union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai on Friday drove a tractor leading a convoy of 300 tractors in a 76-km rally from Bhaluni Bhawani Sthan in Dinara, Rohtas district, to Maa Mundeshwari temple as part of a campaign marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 25 years in public service.
The 'Annadata Seva Sankalp Yatra and Kisan Samvad' was organised to honour farmers and highlight the government's commitment to their welfare and the development of the agricultural sector.
Rai inaugurated the programme. The rally's main attraction was Rai taking the driver's seat of a tractor and leading the convoy alongside farmers over the 76-km route.
