Patna, April 22 -- In a significant organisational overhaul, former Bihar Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Nitish Kumar, who is also the national president of the Janata Dal (United) (JD-U), today reconstituted the national office bearers of the party, a move seen as part of efforts to strengthen the party structure ahead of upcoming political challenges.

As per the new arrangement, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Kumar Jha has been appointed as the Working President of the party. Former MP Chandreshwar Prasad Chandravanshi has been given the responsibility of Vice President.
