Patna, March 5 -- Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today filed his nomination papers for Rajya Sabha biennial elections, ending speculations on whether he would step down as CM to opt for becoming member of upper House of the parliament.
JD(U) leader and sitting Rajya Sabha member Ramnath Thakur, BJP president Nitin Naveen,BJP leader Shivesh Kumar and RLM president Upendra Kushwaha also filed their nomination papers as NDA candidate.
Kumar and other NDA candidates along with union Home Minister Amit Shah and other leaders reached Bihar Assembly to file their nomination papers.
